The double check valve is simply two check valves in line one after another. If the first valve doesn’t get the chemical than the second one will. (A check valve, for those who don’t known, is any device in a hose or tube which only allows the water to flow in one direction. At A-1, for example, they will install double check valve whenever they are replacing the water line to a house.
